Video: Ed Lover – Come On Son Volume 5

Once again Ed Lover breaks down the foolishness of the last couple of weeks. I was hooked after the last episode so Ed is getting a post sight unseen from me this time. This time. We shall see how long this lasts. So far so good though Ed he starts off with Delonte West who definitely deserves the business.

Video: This Guy is Better than You at Pretty Much Everything

I wasn’t gonna steal this from DCtoBC until I got til 2:00 minutes in. I was actually kind of bored with dudes admittedly insane skills until 2:00 minutes in. Then he does the trick with the dice. GTFOH. No way. I watched it several times and I guess he is just that nice. Insane.

Video: Rosa Acosta & Tami Torres Calendar Photoshoot

Watching this video all that runs through my head is this song below. Come on girls!  There’s a bunch of “movie” directors in california that would be interested.

XO – Do It

XO

50 Cent x Angie Martinez – Speaks About Kanye, Jay-Z, Kim Kardishian etc.

Ahh 50. Your interviews and outros on songs are more entertaining than your LPs. Well since you think you should be number one on the MTV’s hottest emcee list (he’s 9) then you can at least say your interviews are hotter. He also takes time to call Kanye gay, say Jay-Z is the coolest punk, and ramble about many other topics. The quote about Lloyd Banks double CD is a classic. He throws it out there and Angie eats it up. Props to Nah for ripping the RR audio. Cause I wasn’t doing it.

Video: Wale Rocks The Spin Office

Yeah that headline makes no sense to me either. Wale drops by the offices of Spin and rocks his classic “Breakdown”. Spin still publishes? pichow pichow!

Video: Ray Rich Aka Casanova – Know She Cold (NSFW)

I’m originally from Houston, Third Ward to be exact, so I’m used to hearing New Orleans Bounce, but if you’re not you might not want to watch the video above. Whatever. Watch it on mute do what you gotta do but watch this video. Super respect to Nola Bounce.

I’m about to check this out but I’m throwing this up because my partner in the DMV blog scene Mr. Fiona Modi himself is endorsing it. Since I haven’t listened yet I’ll let him handle the honors. Tracklist after the jump.

G5 Clive – Reign Cheque (Mixtape)

This is the first exclusive I’ve had for a while. NW DC’s G5 Clive reached out and asked me to sponsor the tape, and I was all about it. The newest installment from Clive is Reign Cheque. The entire thing takes place in new age Washington. Clive says, “Following the war between the light and the right, the kings and queens (us) are rhyming/living to take our kingdom back. Its a kinda dark album, with $30 million dollars  in it. The theme is basically “royalty, and futuristic rap.”

Video: Ghostface Killah, Based on a True Story

Ghostdini sits down with XXL and breaks down the art of rhyming and how some of these other artists do not take it seriously. I definitely  cosign how some artists rappers need to switch up their flow every now and then in songs because it does get boring. He also mentions do not believe all the negativity in songs disrespecting women, as it is not all based on his doings in real life. Word to Wildflower, which is one of my favorties from Ghost.
