Not sure if this is from a new album or just something unreleased being leaked out but it’s definitely something you haven’t heard before. So nice to hear Ms. Hill in fine form again and hopefully we can finally get a new album. Please?

In conjunction withAnatomy Magazine, Mick Boogie & Terry Urban come together for an all new project consisting of their signature blends and mashes, more info below.
“World, meet Anatomy Magazine’s Great American Mixtape: Side B, by Mick Boogie & Terry Urban. This side, in contrast to The Hood Internet release, features America’s favorite rock hits translated into block rockin’ hip-hop tracks ready to kick a hole in your speakers and your perception of the genre. That is because Side B of the Great American Mixtape does something that no other mixtape has done before: It truly cross pollinates rock music artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Guns and Roses, The Doors and Led Zeppelin with hip hop into one comprehensive and radiant piece of work with thought provoking soundscapes that reveal everything that the hip-hop genre can be.”

Okay I know it’s a cover of a Beatles song but you couldn’t throw a verse on there real quick Dre? Ah well….

The Roots and John Legend are working on a collaborative effort titled Wake Up? Why am I just hearing about this? Anyway this is one of the tracks from the album, and the video above shows them working on it. I’m sure you know who sampled the original Ernie Hines track right?

As part one of Nike Sportswear and The FADER’s Pitch Perfect program, we will be posting six mixtapes featuring music from six continents (sorry, Antarctica). Each mixtape will include brand new artwork by Siggi Eggertsson, eventually available as limited edition screen-printed posters. Stay tuned for mixtapes from Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and Africa over the next two weeks.
I’m listening to the South American one right now and its quite funky. Check out both of em below, tracklisting after the jump.
The one and only DJ Trauma comes back with this latest collection of songs that as the title says have little or nothing to do with each other. That is until Trauma puts his own magical touch on it and brings them all together with smooth blends and timeless interludes. Hit the jump for the back cover and tracklisting. Ruling Class approved.
We featured a bunch of remixes from Daisey’s first single Magical on here, and since her album drops May 24th here’s another cut from it. Soul Strut sounds exactly like what it sounds like, some soulful ass music that makes you want to get off your ass and do something. Cop her album when it drops.
