This boy keeps coming through with straight solid bangers. If this ain’t meant for riding around with the top down then I don’t know what is. Get with him now or watch him on tv later.

I posted this back when we were at the old hideout but I figured one more gin can never hurt. The Immortal Ruling Class provided the production, The late great Frank White the vocals. One of the best mixes of Big lyrics that we have ever heard over at PDS, and we’re not just saying that because the Ruling Class happens to have Benhameen as a member. Tracks after the break. Trust me on this one. In case you don’t heres a couple to preview, but the whole mix needs to be heard as one.

I’ve been waiting on this since we first started posting Mr. Shirt. Now with the release of The Tan Faced Children EP officially sponsored by The COC it all comes full circle. If you’ve been keeping up with us then you already heard the soon to be classic 24 Frames. If not then just go ahead and grab the whole thing below. I’m putting my official stamp on T. Shirt and Darvin Silva’s creation. Off the bat Recommendation is nuts. I love how these guys have taken that dirty European sound and applied it to Hip-Hop. If you tired of the bullshit then get this. Now. Tracklist after the jump.
Wow thanks to whoever dug this gem up. The live band gives this joint a nice little swing. Trust me we got a lot of posts coming today dedicated to the late great Christopher Wallace but I just dug this up so here you go. I don’t even remember Jon Stewart having a show back then.
Once again The COC presents another exclusive from my boy T. Shirt. This time Shirt takes the concepts of movie titles and flips it into one of the illest songs I’ve heard in a while. I love when rappers take a concept and actually manage to follow through on it. Shirt takes it all the way with this one, in a manner similar to the GZA’s classic Labels. Darvin murdered the beat and the chorus is insane. Hit the jump for the lyrics with the links to each movie that is mentioned in the song. Thorough. Darvin and Shirt are creating some of the best Hip-Hop in the world right now. I would say lets make a movie but that’s too obvious right?

“Bueller?…..Bueller?……Bueller?”
It came to my attention perusing the “factual resource” known as the internets that the XXL Freshman class this year had a few no shows. Being that I pretty much get all of my news online I’m putting 100% faith in this claim because well, I’m not going to take the time to find out how true it all is. After all I, spend a bulk of my time creating personal theologies in the rap blog comments sections.
*tilts tin foil fitted*
But I digress….
The three names bought up in particular as being too cool for school were internet and wheel chair basketball phenom Drizzy Drake, Speak and Spell spitter Nicki Minaj and prophetic journeyman Jay Electramadan Mohamad Asalam….(you listened to Exhibit C as much as I did so you know the rest). I understand that in their absence three other apt pupils were eligible to enroll and to whomever those three are, congrats. For the life of me I though internets I’m not sure as to why these three would decline.
As brought to light by Christopher Walken in the We Are The World Hip Hop Remix, It’s true Neighborhood Nipsey was definitely throwin up his hood in the tribute to Haiti… Classic. More pics of the foolishness after the jump.

We told you it was coming earlier, and here is the official debut from the COC and T.Shirt.The first single off the Tan Faced Children EP and it’s incredible. Darvin Silva did some stupid stuff on the beat, taking it from a jungle influenced hip-hop track to a smoothed out downtempo joint all while Shirt demolishes it. Of course if this is your first time checking out T.Shirt then you should really click here. The picture above is on some Where’s Waldo ish, because Shirt says him and Darvin are in it but I can’t find em. Click it and see if you can. Lots more info about the whole COC family here and here.

Since it was the God MC’s Bornday yesterday I was inspired to drop this jewel filled with some of the finest in Golden Era East Coast Hip-Hop. Even though I got like fifty songs on this joint there are so many more waiting so you can expect a volume two of this pretty soon. I know I haven’t been dropping one a week but I got some sick ones planned for February, so no worries. For now hit the jump and grab the latest in the PleaseDontStare.Com Mix Series. If you havent been keeping up with the mixes I been dropping do yourself a favor and click here.
Epic. Not much more I can say about this track. If you missed the performance the other night then you need to check it out here. Then make sure you download this track. After that you know what you need to do. Text Yele to 501501 to donate 5 dollars to Yele.org. Or text Haiti to 90999 to donate ten dollars to the red cross. Do Something. Ok you can listen to the whole song or download the snippet. Full version on itunes soon.
