The upcoming animated television series is being produced to help build toward the coming Avengers movie in 2012. This trailer looks pretty cool even if it seems aimed for a pre-teen audience. Of course my favorite bits (if you pay attention while watching) are the inclusion of the Black Panther and a sly reference to The Punisher. A brief and I mean brief, teaser clip from the upcoming TransFormers: PRIME was shown during San Diego Comic-Con.
As good as Inception was I still think Scott Pilgrim may turn out to be the most entertaining film this summer. I just copped the last issue of the graphic novel yesterday but haven’t been able to finish it yet. So far though this is one of the best comics that I’ve ever read and everything related to it, the movie, merchandise and video game all look decisively awesome.
Twelve episodes in and maybe one that I would watch twice? This season is not looking like proof positive that Chapelle was right to stop his show after season two. It’s tough to top a classic.
