Time for the random ass post of the day. Today we have two short musicals featuring some of your favorite 80′s action movies. Up top we have the Terminator lamenting his inability to kill in Terminator 2, and after the jump the story of Robocop told in operatic fashion. The terminator one is the winner for me I’ve already watched it twice and I’d make it a ringtone for my ex girlfriend if I knew how. Thank you TR.
Tip was on Jimmy Kimmel last night to discuss his upcoming album and his whole “hiatus” plus what his future holds for him. He also “acted” in a short skit that you can see above, interview after this.
Can’t lie I haven’t been keeping up with this season at all. The only episode that I thought was classic was the Tyler Perry episode, but Henny says they reference Ali Shaheed in this one so that’s a good start.
And that’s probably not the most outlandish thing that he says in this interview with True Stories Radio. The Hater himself speaks on a lot of the current trends and artists in Hip-Hop right now, and always he doesn’t pull his punches.
This debuted on Adult Swim last night but if you missed it here it is. I was gonna go see Scott Pilgrim today but didn’t make it. I’ll let you know what I think of it after I do catch it, but this four minute animated short has got me even more excited to see it, if thats possible.
So while you were paying attention to Hot97 earlier today, Shyne had a conference call with some media types, bloggers, and other industry cats. Fif decided to chime in and ask Shyne what his beef is with him… fuckery ensues.
I said it before whoever is behind Snoop’s current marketing plan is a genius. If you missed his shout out to John Mayer yesterday please go watch it and then come back and check this comedy where Snoop shows up on most of your current favorite tv series.
After the break he also informs Kim Kardashian that his boys would like to see her new tattoo, and lets his nephew Justin Bieber know that Uncle Snoop wants to show him something real grown and sexy. [||]. I threw in him shouting out Shaq, Martha Stewart, Weird Al, Britney Spears and maybe some more that I don’t remember as well. After the Sookie True Blood homage, playing with Damon Albarn, and giving props to Lance Armstrong I’m really curious as to who is doing Snoop’s marketing plan? Near genius whoever it is.
I dunno about the male backup singers chanting “Don’t be mad when you see that he want it.” I love Sara’s music but I’m not so sure about this one. It verges on parody at points, like something you would see on Saturday Night Live.
