According to the folks over at the Fader, TDE head honcho Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has announced that the TDE brand has “just closed” a joint venture deal with Aftermath/Interscope Records. The first release from this union will be Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming yet to be titled album, which will be released through Top Dawg, Aftermath, and Interscope. Future projects from Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock will be released by Top Dawg/Interscope exclusively.

It’s nice to finally see the TDE camp find a major label landing spot for their growing movement, which should only get bigger due to the exposure this Interscope partnership will surely provide. Stay tuned.
