Here is a Top 10 list (#5-#1) of the dopest sports personalities in the game RIGHT now (sorry Bob Costas, John Madden, and the like).

September 10, 2012 in Sports, Sports Editorial

Are You Ready For Some Football?? With the 2012-2013 NFL Season officially now under the way and Week 1 (save for tonight’s monday night matches) a wrap, here are a few things we took from yesterdays matchups.

5. Mark Sanchez Is Playing For Keeps

After reaching two AFC Championship games in his first two NFL Season’s, Jets QB Mark Sanchez had a down year last season to say the least. Despite putting up his best statistical season so far, Gang Green looked offensively challenged for much of the year, with Sanchez’s up and down play taking most of the blame in the press. To make matters worse, their cross-town rival New York Giants won their second Superbowl in 5 years, putting an even bigger microscope on Sanchize’s MANY fails of last season and leading members of the media to question whether he is the real deal as a Franchise/Superbowl caliber QB. Then you add in the Tebow factor, and you had the perfect storm of adversity for Sanchez, who most believed would lose his starting job to the phenomenom which is Tebow sooner than later. But yesterday (though it WAS against the lowly Buffalo Bills mind you) Sanchez BALLED, putting up 3 TD’s and looked very effective and confident in a Jets blowout, leading ALLOT of people to eat crow as he finally stepped up to the challenge, mentally and physically. Now the only question is can he keep it up.
